Dewey Read-a-thon: Half way there!

Wow, what a day. Busy, busy, busy. I’m finally home, settled, and getting some reading done while hosting behind the scenes. Not nearly as crazy as HOSTING hosting. Imma just watching. While watching, I’ve been reading The Good Neighbors trilogy by Holly Black and Ted Naifeh. It’s quite good! Easy reading, that’s for sure. Not sure what’s next.

Here’s the mid-point meme answers for me:

1) How are you doing? Sleepy? Are your eyes tired?

A little bit. I’ve been up pretty much since 3:00. Nerves, I guess. And excitement! I hope I don’t crash too soon!

2) What have you finished reading?

The Good Neighbors #1: Kin
The Good Neighbors #2: Kith
The Good Neighbors #3: Kind

all by Holly Black and Ted Naifeh

3) What is your favorite read so far?

All, since it’s a trilogy. It’s hard to pick!

4) What about your favorite snacks?

Milk and cookies!

5) Have you found any new blogs through the readathon? If so, give them some love!

Not yet, but I will I’m sure! Will explore on my next break.

++++++++++++++++

  1. You’ve been up since 3:00? I thought my 5:30 wake up call was early. It sounds like you’re having fun!

  2. I really should do the readathon someday (I’ve only cheered), just for the excuse to have awesome snacks.

  3. Do I remember a readathon where you hopped in the bath in the evening? That sounds kind of wonderful (sorry, thinking out loud). You’ve gotten a lot read so far! And had some really great snacks. Mmmmm!

  4. Mmmm….apples with caramel!!! Take a nap if you need to Heather!! You deserve it!! You know, I really can’t thank you enough for what you’ve put in to this. It warms my heart and it means more to me than words can express so thank you so much. From the bottom of my heart!!!! Love you!

  5. Milk and cookies…apples and caramel…mmmmm…can I come over?

Anyway, Heather!!!! You’re freakin’ amazing–you do know this, correct? I can’t believe you’ve finished three books with everything else you’ve had on your plate!!!

Keep on having fun, sweetie!!! Love you!!!

  6. I read The Prince of Mist two years ago so this year it’s The Midnight Palace (right after Sandman). :) When I met Carlos Ruiz Zafón a couple of months ago, I told him that his books are best in the fall and he thought that was amusing. But they are, right?!
