It’s been awhile since I rambled. So.
Aarti is hosting a fantastic challenge the week of September 23rd.
Click the pic and join in. I’m planning on reading Kindred by Octavia E. Butler. Been meaning to read more by her anyway, so this is great timing!
I read the first two books in the Spiderwick Chronicles series yesterday. Wow, are they good or what? And the art is gorgeous! If my daughter wasn’t such a chicken, I’d read them with her. Hopefully when she’s gotten a little older… and there is always my son. He’s not a big scaredy cat like her!
I made a pumpkin dump cake last night. You know, getting in the spirit… It was SO GOOD, especially the little section I sprinkled a bit of bacon bits on… *gasp*

The Roald Dahl who wrote James and the Giant Peach and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and MATHILDA, wrote for Playboy. It’s the first time I’ve read not-for-the-kiddies Roald Dahl, so I was a bit flummoxed. It left me feeling like this:
But more on that later.
I wish someone had told me what you can find if you search for gifs. Oh my goodness. *blush* It’s definitely not all
although it feels kinda like that.
