Andi, over at Tripping Toward Lucidity, tagged me with this tasty little meme.
“What’s Your Favorite Type of Writing?” And I should mention, your favorite type of writing to do as opposed to your favorite type of writing to read.
I have thought on this for the last 12 hours and the more I thought on it the easier the answer was for me. I don’t write as much as I used too, but when I do write, I loev to write fiction. I wrote quite a bit when I was in college and one of my regrets is that I did not take a creative writing course while there. Alas, I’m too shy. I used to write quite a bit of fan fiction, which I will not share
, for fun and practice. And I hate admiting that, but there it is.
I remember when I was younger, around the 7-13 age range, everytime I saw a freshly sharpened pencil I just itched to put it to paper. In a way, I’m still like that now, even though I prefer to write on the computer now. There’s just something so tempting about a fresh blank page and a freshly sharpened pencil. Hmm…the smell of graphite…
I have one YA novel on the go and a short story that has fallen by the wayside. As it the time comes closer for the new baby to get here, I am realizing I’m going to have to learn how to prioritize a little better so that I will have more time to write. I miss doing it. I’m not all that great, I know, but it’s fun.
Now… who to tag… I think I’ll tag Nancy (Bookfool) and Iliana (Bookgirl).

You ARE great! I love reading your stuff. I tagged Nancy, too!!! Whahahah! Great minds and all that.
Ohmygosh! Two of you tagged me for this meme and Chris tagged me for another! I've got my work cut out for me, I guess.
Thanks for thinking of me, Heather. LOL to Andi. Guess I know which blog I'm going to hop to, next!
Thanks for the tag! I'll have to think about this one for a bit. I promise to post soon
I just wandered over here from the Once Upon a Time challenge. You have a great blog!! And congrats on the boy. I have one of those myself…although he's 10 now!! Sheesh, where does the time go??
I loved to write when I was in school. I have no idea why I never kept it up.
Thanks Andi! You're encouragement, as always, means a lot.
Well, Nancy, you completed the Nano, so I know you're a writer
Great Iliana, I can't wait to read what you think.
Thank you Stephanie!
That's almost cheating, Heather.
