- Okay, who else has a book binge hangover thanks to the Read-a-thon? I STILL feel woozy. BUT IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT.
- Due to the Readathon, I kinda missed doing another weekend of Stuff I Love stuff, so I’m going to mix some in again this week.
- I gave the girl my old Nook last week. She has been reading the first IVY & BEAN on it and “says” she wants to read THE SECRET GARDEN next. Be still my heart.
- The YARNAHOLIC in me is totally DYING to do make one of these. Is Ellie to old for one?
Is that not the cutest thing EVER?
- I *almost* picked up WILD by Cheryl Strayed during the Readathon. Now, Kim at Sophisticated Dorkiness REALLY makes me wish I had. I have to fit it in soon!
- AUDIOBOOK WEEK IS COMING!!!! Woot!
- I wasn’t CRAZY about SHIP BREAKER by Paolo Bacigalupi, but I now I really want to read THE DROWNED CITIES. Thanks a lot, Readventurer! Also, thanks for reviewing SILENTLY AND VERY FAST by Catherynne Valente. I officially need to read everything this woman has written.
- In case you didn’t believe me, you don’t necessarily need to be a child of the 80s, to enjoy READY PLAYER ONE by Ernest Cline. Yay Trish!!
- Also, this is made of awesome:
Love 2Cellos!

Good stuff! I hate that I couldn't officially participate in the readathon, but I practically had my own -athon with A Discovery of Witches. Writing up and posting my review on Thursday. Meanwhile, I love Outlander. Seriously.
Oh yay, I'm so glad that you want to check out Catherynne M. Valente. Her writing is amazing! Tatiana both loved The Drowned Cities so much – and we both thought it was better than Ship Breaker so I hope you do too. Thanks for mentioning us!
That's so sweet that your little one is using your older Nook. I've really thought about trying that out with my oldest girl (she's six). And I've seen the Ivy & Bean series at stores but never checked it out. Are they worth getting? I CAN'T WAIT until my girl is old enough for The Secret Garden. That was my favorite book for quite a while when I was younger. Right now, we're reading Stuart Little.
That tutu is so cute!
Apparently I need to go see what Kim said about WILD. It's my local bookclub's read for May but I know nothing about it (other than basic premise). Glad to see others talking abut it!
Cutest skirt ever. I'm hoping to make some cute skirts or something such during the Pinterest challenge.
