I finished with The Doctor’s Wife by Mary Elizabeth Braddon late Sunday night. It was…. everything I expect from ME Braddon. I loved loved loved the salaciousness of Lady Audley’s (wicked) Secret and TDW more than lives up to the promise of LAS. Y’all, I might have to put her up there with Wilkie Collins. Seriously. I know, I can’t believe I said that either. But witness this quote:

Novels are only dangerous for those poor foolish girls who read noting else, and think that their lives are to be paraphrases of their favourite books. 2. I think that ME Braddon book will be the next one I read. I've heard it's a retelling of Madame Bovary, which I hated, and i have a feeling Braddon is going to make it much, much better!
3. I actually think Neville is a bit ugly, haha! I think Tom Felton is far hotter, though that's not the best pic of him.

I'm going to have to read The Doctor's Wife. I loved Lady Audley's Secret but then I chose Aurora Floyd next and it was kind of the same story as Lady Audley's Secret (a lady with a secret) but it wasn't quite as good. It's okay though — I forgive Braddon!
And the owl is adorable. He looks like he's been up reading all night/day.
