So sad about the roses. Aren't burning bushes beautiful in the fall? We have one planted in the front bed by the corner of the house. Like yours it only has a couple of turned leaves, but in time it will be a big ball of red. Everything else in my part of the country turns yellow or orange, so the red provides quite a highlight.
I love my burning bush. I'm just letting it grow wild instead of shaping it. I think it's gorgeous, especially when it's in full "flame." We have mostly yellows and oranges too in the fall, which makes the flaming red so unique!

I'd never heard of a burning bush. But I also never know plant or flower names so it's not surprising. Looking forward to another pic when it's all red!

I love burning bushes and we have so many in our neighborhood, but alas, I don't have one in my yard. So much of my yard is shady that I'm afraid it wouldn't turn red in the fall. I may just have to dig something out of the sunny patch and plant one for my enjoyment. I love autumn and am having fun shooting pictures in and around my neighborhood.
