Comments: I finally finished it! I first read this magnificent monstrosity of a book (if you’ve seen how big it is, you’ll know what I mean) I was in high school. Now, around 10 years later, I decided to do a reread. And I’m so glad I did. I didn’t remember half of this wonderful tale of King Arthur. And I love the different perspective; through the eyes of the woman of the King Arthur legend, Morgaine, Gwenhwyfar, Ygraine, etc, etc. It was very refreshing and felt so real. Simply an amazing read.

  1. The first time I read this book I really wasn't all that impressed. So I'm not sure what prompted a reread, but I'm glad I did because I enjoyed it so much more the second time round.

    Fantastic book

  2. I loved the story. Some of the writing was…annoying…because she repeats herself a lot. But it wasn't bad enough to really bother me. It's such a great book.
