When it rains it pours
Nothing new to report on the job front yet. We’re all in a holding pattern, waiting to see if current company has anywhere for us and waiting to see if new company wants us. Fun times.
It gets better. Both my kiddos have the swine flu. See, it’s pouring, right? All my time is wrapped up in them at the moment. I barely have time to read, think or go to the bathroom! Luckily for them, it looks like they have a mild case, praise the Lord.
I did manage to finish my 100th book of the year on Sunday; The Magician’s Elephant by Kate DiCamillo. Just as magical and beautiful as I expected.
I hope the sun comes out soon and I can get back down to business.

Oh NO! It sounds like they’re getting through it okay, though, so maybe this will be a blessing, because they will have immunities for later in the season and won’t get a worse case later. I hope the job thing turns into a blessing too and you find something even better.
Practice some power relaxation, when you find some minutes just close your eyes, breathe deeply, and try to relax all your muscles.

And my neck thanks you for that reminder

I wondered why I haven’t seen you at Twitter (not that I’ve been there, much). So glad the kiddos don’t have it too bad and I hope you get very good news about the job, soon.

Yikes, it certainly is pouring. =/ I hope the kids feel better soon – best to have a mild case of swine flu and get it out of the way now, if they were going to catch it, IMO. And fingers crossed about your job situation, I hope everything clears up for you very, very soon.

Glad to hear your kids only have a mild case of swine flu. That’s what we got at our house, too. Even so, you end up hovering over them to make sure it doesn’t take a turn for the worse. Congrats on book 100. I’m working on 100 right now.
