Book Buzz

Chris at Book-A-Rama does something similar to this on Fridays, and, since imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, I’m stealing it.
I’m debating if I want to do it Saturday or Monday. I’m leaning towards Mondays. Or, I may keep it wild and just to it completely random! Cause I’m WILD like that! haha
Anyway…here are a few things I found interested around the nets last week:
Becky’s review of Offworld by Robin Parrish made me promptly add it to my Sunday Book Coveting list.
Great guest post/Interview over at Mawbooks with Kaleb Nation, author of Bran Hambric: The Farfield Curse, which I can’t wait to read.
ReadingGroupGuides.com has a great guest post from Frances de Pontes Peebles, author of The Seamstress, another book I can’t wait to read and luckily, it’s on my to be read shelf!
Check out these book purses. Go on. You know you want one. Pick up one of these while you are at it. If you don’t love that, how about one of these literary charms?
Nicole at Linus’s Blanket has picked one of the books to go on to the next round of The Nerds Heart YA Tournament. I am extremely happy with her selection!!! It’s now down to the last round!! I’m so excited!
Medieval Bookworm has a fantastic review of one of my all-time-favorite books, Possession by A.S. Byatt
And this is this week, but I want to tell you now: Oprah is giving away a free copy of Let The World Spin by Colum McCann Monday through Wednesday. So go download your copy now!

I really like book link round-up posts! They push me in directions I might not have gone before and I’ve discovered some great stories/blogs this way. Thank you for linking to mine!

The book purses and charms are great! Almost makes me wish it was okay for guys to carry purses and wear charm bracelets!

I do too! There are just so many great book blogs, blogs, and posts it’s impossible to see them all. And you’re welcome! I’ll do whatever I can to get someone to read Possession!!!

Aren’t they? She had a Grimm’s Fairy Tale one I had my eye on, but someone got it.
I’ve been thinking of getting her to make me a Princess Bride one.
Didn’t someone on Seinfeld have a Man Purse? I think it’s totally doable. You’re manly enough to pull it off Carl. *wink*

I just read Bookfoolery’s review of Offworld and I’m eager to read it, too. Hope my library has a copy.

I love the book purses so much! And I can’t wait for My Most Excellent Year to arrive so I can start reading it. I have a feeling Chris and I will have a really hard time picking the winner.
