Forgetting…

I think I am forgetting how to blog. I’ve been out of it for so long, what with the holidays, sickness (the kids and now me) and whatnot, that I just haven’t blogged much in the past couple of months. I just don’t know what to say anymore, unless it’s a book review. I don’t want to quit blogging…I just can’t find the words any more.

Maybe once I feel better….

  1. I hope you feel better soon!

  2. Thank you. I hope so too!

  3. I think we all feel that way, at times. Hope the latest round of antibiotics does the trick. You've got a copy of Galway Bay? Cool. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on that one. Well, I can wait, but I'd rather not. I'll let you get well, first. I'm nice that way. ;)

  4. I hope you stick around the blogosphere, Heather! It's terrible being sick, but it is that time of the year! I hope you feel better soon. :)

Well, you read a lot of good books in January… I ordered book 8 and 9 in the Fables series today, so I am very excited to see what happens next! I also read American Born Chinese last month. Actually, I think I read more graphic novels last month than I have ever! I am waiting for both An Abundance of Katherines and Paper Towns to come in at the library… And, I really need to read passed book one in Gabaldon's series.

Did you hear that The Graveyard Book was going to be a movie? I was hoping it was going to be, so I am very excited by that fact!

You know, me and you have a lot of similarities in reading… If you haven't noticed by this rather long comment!

  5. It'll come back once you're feeling better. When I'm sick or stressed I have absolutely nothing to blog about, as it should be! Take time for you and those kiddos and get to feelin' better.

  6. You are definitely among a group of people who have all felt this way. And you, along with the rest of us, will feel this way again in the future. In reality it is just like riding a bike. It does all come back to you.

  7. It takes a bit of time to get back into the swing of things. Good luck!

  8. I'm with you being sick and blah. And I'm wondering if the whole blogging thing is fading… many of the people I've been reading for years are slowly quitting. (Don't quit! Don't quit!) I don't hardly recognize half the people who comment on my blog anymore… Sigh.

  9. Feel better Heather! I agree with everyone, the blogging mojo will come back to you once you are feeling better. Don't stress yourself over it.

  10. I arrive at those crossroads from time to time myself. Sometimes a break can recharge the batteries.

Take your time, you'll get through this little problem, I think it happens to all of us. I'm having that trouble with my other blog.

  12. I go through the winter doldrums myself and blogging gets pushed aside for other needs. Write when you can and don't worry if the time gets away from you. We'll all check in to see if you've posted, but we'll never leave you. When all else fails, post pictures of those two cuties. :)

  13. I hope you're feeling better soon. I'm finding it really hard to blog about books lately- BOOKS! Hopefully we'll both be on track soon.

  14. I hope you feel better soon Heather – and I certainly hope you stay in the blogging world (speaking from a very selfish view as I have just discovered your blog and am really enjoying reading it!). I'm having a bit of a blogging dry spell at the moment too – just don't seem to have much inspiration for anything much more than getting through the day but I think these things go in waves so I am hoping it will turn around soon.

  15. Thanks guys, you are the best. I am better and hope to get back to it! Love you all!
