Got bored

as you can probably tell. I wanted something more fall-ish I swear, I’ll leave it alone. At least I will until around Christmas time. I have to decorate for that!

I started the most marvelous book the other day. The Good Thief by Hannah Tinti. Very…New Englandy Dickensianish. It’s about an orphaned one-handed pick-pocket.

Geez, try saying that ten times fast!

I promise I’ll try to post something more substantial soon.  Been busier than a  long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs.

At one point (not long ago) you had a header that was a pencil sketch of two women by a barn (house?). Where did you get that sketch?

  3. LOL, love the look! Love it. And your description of the book has me intrigued!

  4. I love it! What program did you use to make the header?

  5. I love the new look and the book sounds terrific, but I don't think I could say "orphaned one-handed pickpocket" ten times fast. Nope. Don't think so.

I've never gotten that saying. Surely any real cat would be found happily asleep on one of the chairs, rather than trying to tiptoe through? I know mine would.
