Yuck!
Geez Louise! I have been getting so much spam on my blog lately! Normally wordpress does an excellent job of keeping the spam out; I guess they are getting more creative.
I hates spam! In ALL of it’s nasty forms!
The birthday party went swimmingly. The princess received lots of goodies. She now has a coat for everyday of the week! And, sigh, she got even more horses. The coolest thing; she got a horse tire swing? Have you seen these things? I’ll have to take a picture, we all think it’s awesome.
Her actual birthday was yesterday. I took the day off and her daddy did too and we spent the day together. It was great. Until about 2 o’clock, when we all had to go to the dentist. It wasn’t my fault, they had to reschedule and it was the only time they had open until December!!! But that went well; E and I both were cavity free!!
In other news, I finished two rather excellent books this weekend. I read The Graveyard Book, Neil Gaiman’s newest, straight through and finally finished up John Grogan’s The Longest Trip Home. Reviews forthcoming, as soon as I find a minute. Suffice to say, I adored The Graveyard Book and most of The Longest Trip Home. If I could put little bitty hearts all around The Graveyard Book I would. Just adored it. More soon!
I'm glad y'all had such a good time. Except for the dentist, although it sounds like you and Ellie had a fine time at the dentist.
And more horses! Every little girl needs at least one more horse! Come on!
I haven't read The Graveyard Book, but Susan has started it and is lovin' it so far. I may try to rip off her copy when she's done. Whee!

Spam sucks. My mother-in-law made the funniest comment, the last time I stayed with them. She said she was raised on Spam (the other kind, not the nasty ad/comment version) and, as if that wasn't bad enough, her mother rolled it in flour and fried it. "And, yet she lived to be 94. She must have had some good genetic thing going." LOL
What's worse than spam is stupid 12 year old boys who think it's hilarious when they see their comment posted so they proceed to get more and more vulgar and leave like 15 comments. And then when you delete their comments they come back for more. But you've blocked their IP address and email addresses so they use the contact page to shout obscenities at you. Yep, just happened two days ago. Grrr . . .
The Graveyard Book is really good, isn't it! I read it a couple weeks ago now and quite enjoyed it.
You have no idea how jealous I am about the Graveyard Book. The UK release isn't until December. Then again, I could just do the sensible thing and order from the internet. Hmm… excuse me for a moment…

On Nancy that sounds just terrible. I've never had real Spam, but it looks nasty. The hubz says it's good, but *cringe* I just can't do it!
