She actually LOOKED in the lens!

She actually LOOKED in the lens!

I actually got the princess to grace me with a direct gaze into the lens.  It’s a miracle!

I am almost finished with The Spiritualist by Megan Chance.  It’s fantastic.  Will review soon.  It will be my 3rd read for RIP.  I finished When Twilight Burns by Colleen Gleason last week, but since I’m going to review it for Estella, I’ll just say it was just as good as I was expecting and then some!  Love me some Victorian Vampire Venators!  And I got an acknowledgement, not by name, but as an Estella gal.  And that’s why it’s all worth it.  But anyway, get your hands on both of these books.  They are perfect for this time of year!

*edit* Read through lunch and finished it. It was excellent! Now, what do I read next???

  1. Gorgeous picture!

I'm still working on my second book for RIP, The Halloween Tree by Ray Bradbury. It's a rather short children's book that I could easily read in one sitting, but I'm really trying to savor this one. It's such a great book!

  2. Its funny, because I actually just purchased The Spiritualist today on impulse. I'm glad to heard that it's good.

  3. I'm gonna have to cehck out this Spiritualist business!

    Gorgeous pic of princess Ellie!

  4. I'm on my second RIP book and I can highly recommend it, if you're looking for something thought-provoking and gripping. Grab yourself a copy of The Brief History of the Dead. This is going on my Top Ten List for 2008!
