The James Lipton meme

Trish tagged me for this fun meme!

What is your favorite word?  luscious.

What is your least favorite word? scrumptious.  I know it’s supposed to mean something tastes good, but just hearing it makes me just irritable!

What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally? my children.  Everything I do, is for them.

What turns you off? people who abuse children.  They should be strung up my their toenails and publicly flogged.  Then slowly tortured until they beg for mercy then thrown in a dungeon for the rest of their lives.  Killing is too good for them.

What is your favorite curse word? I hate to say it, but it’s fuck. It’s the most versatile word in the world.

What sound or noise do you love? my children laughing.  There is nothing sweeter.

What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? photographer.  Obviously.  ;)

What profession would you not like to do? teacher.  I have nothing but respect for people who teach.

If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?  Welcome! Everyone is waiting to see you! And yes, there is a library with every book ever written.

I’m not going to tag anyone, but jump on it if you want too!

  1. I'm right there with you on the curse word. I am constantly saying, "What the fuck?!" ;)

I love to hear the sound of children laughing. And babies cooing.

YESSSS!!! I'm totally doing this meme. I think about my answers every time I watch Inside the Actors' Studio! Hugh Laurie was on a while back, by the way. And A&E did a Biography episode. Mostly stuff I already knew, but he was still nice to look at. hehehe

  3. Umm, oops. That was me. My new secret as-yet-unrevealed political blog is out of the bag! lol

I don't mind, I just forgot I was logged into WordPress.

  4. Okay, first, I'm laughing about Andi's posts. :) Second, luscious is good and scrumptious is not? But, but . . . they're so similar. I don't know that I have a favorite word. Maybe soporific. We say "flying farkle" as a replacement for the other "f" word, when we're under control. During temper tantrums, the other word just ekes out. There's a slight possibility I may be going to Hell for that. I'm not sure. I am sure I wish I'd grabbed that sentence as a title before someone else beat me to it.

  6. LOL Les. I'm having difficulty imagining you saying "fuck." Of course, I get the same reaction when I say it!

I kind of figured that was you Andiroo! Only you would gush like that about Hugh!

LOL I know, I'm weird aren't I, Nancy? My Mama always said scrumptious and I would always cringe. Makes my butt pucker, as Andi likes to say.

  7. LOL re: butt pucker. I whipped that out on my students one day a week or two ago, and you should've heard the whooping laugh I got.
