That's SO FREAKIN' COOL! I've never thought of DIGITAL scrapbooking! That's right up my alley! And so much less expensive!
Gorgeous work, my dear.
I think it looks great! I actually started scrapbooking digitally in September and am totally addicted. I even got one of my layouts picked to be in Digital Scrapbooking Magazine! It is SO much easier to do it on the computer than drag all that stuff out with two kids in the house. Plus you can reuse all the digital papers and elements over and over. Check out http://www.shabbymissjenndesigns.com and http://www.theshabbyshoppe.com for some really great digital kits. Oh, and if you want to print out any of your creations, check to see if there is a Costco in your area – mine does 12×12 prints for about $3 each!
Thanks Dandi Andi! I think it's SO FREAKIN' COOL too! I hadn't really thought of it either until I was perusing the magazine shelf and saw a magazine for it. I picked it up and was like "damn!" because it ties together so many things I love; photography, graphics, my kids! I think I may be addicted!
Stephanie, thank you so much for the references!! I haev been to Shabby Miss Jean's, but haven't checked out the shop yet. That is so cool that you were in the magazine! Which issue was it? I have the latest one at home. I've read it so many times it's starting to look very worn. We do have a Costco, but I'm not a member…I may have found a reason to join though!!
My layout will be in the April/May issue (which I think comes out in early March). When you get it I'll let you know which one is mine!
Cool! I can't wait to see it! I'm thinking I had better subscribe to that magazine. I've read the one I have to pieces!
I love these. I first heard about digital scrapping on Stephanie's blog. Oh, I need more hours in a day!!!!
I'm super curious about digital scrapbooking…I've always avoided real scrapbooking because I know that I would spend waaaay too much money on all the pretty paper and notions! Off to google…
You could certainly see your expertise in the work you write. The world hopes for even more passionate writers like you who are not afraid to say how they believe. Always go after your heart.
