It is so hard to believe, but I only have one week left at home with the baby before I have to return to work. It’s bittersweet; I hate to leave the little bugger but at the same time I feel like I will finally get a little bit of my life back. Which, of course, is leading to a few feelings of guilt here. But (hopefully) I’ll get over it. I have to make the $$$ too!
Plus I’ll be able to get back to my regular blog reading!
I hope to be able to finally find some time to exercise once I get back to work too. I have about 30 extra pounds I’d like to loose (I’m being optimistic here!) and the onsite gym is going to come in handy! And I might find time to read too! Wesley is having a growth spurt, which means feedings around every 1 1/2 – 2 hours. Including nights. It’s making him very fussy too! I’m one tired mama!
I’m still reading Kristin. Or rather I plan to get back to it after The Glass Books of the Dream Eaters. That is one strange, fascinating and hard to put down book. I will be glad when Wesley gets back to his eating every 3 hours schedule so that I might can read more of it. It’s hardback so it’s very hard to read it while holding and/or feeding him. I hope to get it done in time to count for the RIP challenge.
Check this out, first professional pictures of the siblings!

Beautiful photos Heather!
Oh how I love to see these pictures! Keep 'em comin'!!
BTW, has anyone ever said Ellie looks a bit like Drew Barrymore when she was a little girl?
Those are gorgeous, but I have to tell you that I think your photos look every bit as professional. That close-up of Wesley that you took (the b & w) is spectacular. And, I'm so crazy about that photo you took of Ellie laughing, a while back – in the cute dress, touching the flower bush (azaleas, I think?).
Those are SUCH cute pics! And Sir Wesley already has a great smile.
Fantastic photos – oh I remember those gruelling early months of feeding. Never forget what a hero you are. I hope the growth spurt passes soon!
Thanks guys!
Les, you're the first! You're right though, she does a little!
Aww Nancy, that really means a lot, since that is something I would love to do professionally. Unfortunately I don't have the time or money to start up with it at this time. Maybe someday! And I love that photo too; it's one of those happy accidents that happen sometimes.
He has his dad's smile Andi. I fell in love with that smile twice over
Thanks Lit. It's hard sometimes, but I always remind myself of how good it is for him. I nursed his sister for 13 months and I hope to do that well with him!
Fabulous pictures!
